Hello! Happy New Year to you all!!!
Before I get into the review I just wanted to say I am planning to really throw myself into blogging this year. Starting with posting once a week and building up from there. I feel like the pressure to maintain a blog can stress me out sometimes and that’s not what it’s about. I want to have fun with it! What would you guys like to see? Reviews? Makeup looks? Let me know in the comments! 😁
Now, as we all do for Christmas I was given various vouchers for here and there, and when possible I try to put them towards treats I wouldn’t usually buy myself. This eyeliner was one such product. At £14 for what is essentially a glitter eyeliner, I was always reluctant to part with my own money for one. Even though I have always thought they looked beeeeautiful.
Coming up to New Years Eve we are all looking to add a bit of sparkle to our makeup looks, and so I thought this was the perfect opportunity to try one of these babies out. I went for the Gold colour ‘Midnight Cowboy’ as I thought it would go with the most eye looks. Gold is always a winner if you ask me.
It turns out this eyeliner is very versatile, long wearing and performs extremely well. It can be as subtle or intense as you like and when it dries there is next to no fall out, meaning you don’t end up looking like a mirror ball by the end of the night.
I used the eyeliner overtop of my eyeshadow to add an understated glint of glitter, but it can be layered for a more intense statement look, or even added under winged liner as a step up from your usual winged liner look.
If you have ever considered buying one of these I assure you, you won’t regret it, I can’t wait to create more looks with this glitter, needless to say I now want to collect all the colours!
Have you tried these eyeliners? What is your favourite way to wear them?
Until next time! B x
