Cultural Activities

Ms Beth Atkins is a native of the island of St Lucia. Growing o in the islands have instilled an appreciation of community and family in her as she is from a large and close-knit family. She enjoys meeting people, working with the youth, and bringing out the best and most positive in everyone she encounters. Service to others is high on her priority scale as she believes that we are truly our brother’s keeper.
Ms Beth loves and appreciates art in its every form. She has participated in many shows and productions throughout the islands and is presently founding member of The Turks and Caicos Folklore Explorers along with Ms. Barbara Johnson. She has taken our rich cultural heritage through song dance and drama to the world while represented these our beautiful islands with TUCA Cultural group.
Ms. Atkins started her career in the hospitality industry in her home country for sixteen years before she moved to the TCI in 1998 and worked with Beaches Resort, a part of the Sandals Chain within their entertainment department. She has worked with many successful pageant contestants in the areas of, Poise, speech, grooming and etiquette.
Beth Now enjoys her career in real estate as she educates buyers and sellers on the benefits to be derived from the Turks and Caicos Islands. I am sure you often see her marketing our paradise to the world on WIV channel seven.
It is said that when Beth is not busy with buyers and sellers of Real Estate or serving her community as a volunteer firefighter she proudly shares our rich cultural heritage of the Turks and Caicos Islands, which she now proudly calls home.
